Microsoft says users will be offered the option to upload Office documents or images to their SkyDrives, and then send a link of their work to a friend who uses Hotmail. This will eliminate the need to use caution when sharing large files for presentations, videos, or large collections of photos, because the documents will exist in the cloud.
The recipient will be able to view documents in their original format and large multimedia files in their Inbox without the need to wait for a huge download. This gives Hotmail users the opportunity to pick and choose which content they want to download from SkyDrive. As a result of new feature additions to Hotmail, images and video will receive new options, too, including the ability to automatically view a collection of images in a slideshow, and the ability to view photos and video from third-party services like FlickR, SmugMug, Hulu, and YouTube, all without having to leave Hotmail.
Microsoft also says it will push Windows live e-mail, calendar, and contact information, and more to your Windows Mobile phone using Exchange ActiveSync. Other new features we saw in the demo included separate sections for viewing shipping information and e-mails from social Web sites, which represent a significant amount of all e-mail messages. Does Office offer enough to make it worth the upgrade from earlier versions?
We think that largely depends on how you use Microsoft Office. New templates and quick access to video and image-editing tools are welcome additions for those who create visual presentations of their content.

Serious spreadsheet power users will like the new features that tie data together in Excel while making complex data more accessible in the Ribbon and more exciting visually. Outlook's new conversation-scrubbing features and Quicksteps for common e-mail actions could save daily e-mail users a lot of time, if they're willing to learn the ropes initially. If you feel like Office or Office have all the features you need in your line of work, then there's probably little reason to upgrade.
Obviously, the Ribbon is now the preferred method across the entire suite for getting to features quickly. If you didn't like the Ribbon in Office , you probably won't like it now, but we think there's plenty of utility in having a common interface tool across all the apps; it might be worth learning a new way of doing things if you want to streamline your work flow.

The new Hotmail integration features that will launch alongside Office may give Google Docs a run for its money if they work as advertised. We're impressed with what we've seen so far, but we'll need to reserve judgment until users are relying on the new features en masse. Office is a worthy upgrade for those who desire new templates and visual styles, better ways of editing multimedia content in publications and presentations, and easier methods of collaboration.

The ability to work from anywhere with the new Web apps is surely a big reason to upgrade if your job requires that kind of flexibility. Microsoft Office Home and Student gives you the essential tools you need to complete school and household projects efficiently. Microsoft Office Home and Student includes the following applications: The veteran producer and brainchild behind the new Netflix kids' science series says that salvation OneNote is flexible and much liked.
But if it doesn't work exactly like you want, you have plenty of Google Drive is more than an app or a website -- you can also install it on your PC. Was this review helpful? I encountered the same problem before, but all I did was go to tech support of tek-micro.
I'll let you in a little secret guys. Instead, I visit the customer support of some resellers, such as tek-micro. All around perfect product First, I would like to give thanks to the Lord for everything forever! I have found that if you start with using the basic functions and slowly familiarize yourself with the program that you will be able to use it the way you want to. At first, it seems like a strange place. However, through consistent use and study, you will find it to be easy and pleasant. I recommend you try out Microsoft and buy.
I will be able to discuss the pros of Microsoft Home and Student , when I can actually take advantage of the promised free upgrade to from my very recent purchase of the version. It appears I am not getting the promised free upgrade to the version promised many recent purchasers of the version.
Email address provided upon installation was not alerted when became available. There seems to be no free upgrade. I was promosed there was a free upgrade to for those who purchased the version after a certain date. Upon installation I provided an email address as again the free upgrade was promised, and I was told I would be notified when it was available.
Only, now is available and I obviously was not only not alerted to this fact, and no free upgrade seems to available. I would never have purchased without this assurance that I was in fact buying , just as soon as it became available. Search as I may, it seems only that Microsoft wants me to pay again for what I already paid for. As has been my experience before with Microsoft, when you can't find the help or answer you need, there really is nowhere to call, nobody to talk to who can explain or speak for microsoft. Funny, for a corporation that is so large, one of the largest corporations in the world, when it actually comes to finding them, contacting them to talk to them and ask them a question or for an explaination, it's as if they don't exist other than on a TV or computer screen.
It seems it is not even possible to talk to some confused foreigner in a call center somewhere in a distant land even. So be warned of this: It's not just that Microsoft has a horrible reputation from delievering buggy expensive software but that they also basically do not stand behind their products, as worse, they can't even be found to explain their products or themselves.
Expect this to be one of the main freatures and functionalities of this or any Microsoft product. When the help menu fails to explain something, or is clearly explaining somethig in a manner where it is clear that is the explaination is for a different or earlier verison of your product, but doesn't give you the answer or help you need, and their lists online of explanations and frequently asked questions equally fail to help you, you are on your own!

Overview Review User Reviews Specs. Setup We installed Office on two different test machines, one running Windows XP and the other running Windows 7.
Interface The Ribbon has returned in Office first introduced in Office and now is offered in all the applications in suite. Features Alongside interface enhancements like the Ribbon across all Office applications, Microsoft Office offers a number of features that should reduce the time you spend gathering information so you can spend more time on solid presentation. Hotmail integration Late to our labs and late to the game, some might say, with Google and Yahoo leading the pack are some of the new features that Windows Live Hotmail will support when it launches to all users in July or August.
Office works and doesn't. This is a followup. Ran Regedit and deleted all office entries. A enjoyable 5 hours-NOT. Reinstalled the suite once more. The save problem was still present. Went to the startup list and disabled all of the enabled files. No change. Went to MS office support. Most Suggested troubleshooting steps were done with negative results. Directions for a couple of steps referenced displays that I couldn't see. Once more the problem persists. I suggest that all users of the Amazon application service find a free trial version of the desired file and make sure that it will work.
If it does, uninstall the trial file and make sure that all vestiges of the trial installation are removed. Then install the Amazon file. You still may have a problem. But I think the problems will be minimized.
